Originally released in 1963 on Bluesville from sessions recorded in 1962, "Smokes Like Lightning" features Hopkins solo on guitar and vocals except for a full band on three of the tracks. Includes a re-recording of "T Model Blues" and "Let's Do The Susie-Q". Reissued on 180 gram vinyl on a tip on sleeve with a paper and poly lined inner sleeve.
